What does YieldBuild cost?
YieldBuild is free.
YieldBuild is free.
YieldBuild provides two primary values to publishers: - Premium Ad Programs: access to high-performance display and ad sources, such as premium networks and agency networks, like AOL Advertising.com, Microsoft pubCenter, and Traffic Marketplace. We handle the site approval process and negotiate high CPMs based on our large publisher base. - Ad Format Optimization: YieldBuild's algorithm will determine the best-performing ad to serve for each ad spot on your page, across your available ad sources, and, in the case of text ads, across available formats (background colors, border styles, etc.)
You can directly associate with your Google AdSense, Chitika, or ValueClick account. That means you continue to get paid by these networks, and YieldBuild just optimizes them (YieldBuild does not take a fee/cut from these networks). The Premium Display and Premium Text Ad Programs aggregate ads from exclusive sources like Advertising.com, Microsoft pubCenter, Traffic Marketplace and others. YieldBuild takes care of getting your site approved by the ad partners, and YieldBuild pays you.
It's as easy as installing a Javascript ad tag (code snippet), exactly like Google AdSense or other ad providers.
Since YieldBuild gives you standard Javascript ad tags, it should work with just about every ad server.
No. You simply have to choose ad zones (specific regions) on the page where an ad might be served. YieldBuild will not alter anything outside the ad zones.
For Premium Ad Programs, we pay on a net/60 basis in the form of a check (or PayPal, on request). For network accounts you associate with YieldBuild for optimization purposes, like Google AdSense or Chitika, you continue to be paid directly by the ad network.
You do not have to, but YieldBuild usually recommends running it, because Premium Ads, while they often pay better, are primarily served to US visitors only. AdSense can serve to non-US visitors, to make sure you don't lose money on them. YieldBuild is working on an international fill solution, but in the meantime it suggests running AdSense.
YieldBuild requires a training period in order to test layouts and formats live with your site's traffic. As YieldBuild learns more about your traffic, it will refine the ad layouts in order to maximize clicks and revenue, and you will see performance continually improve. The first training period takes several thousand page views for three to five zones to fully optimize your site's ads, although each site differs and your training period often depends on your site's traffic patterns. Additional zones require longer training periods.
